About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive special educational needs school in the heart of Islington. You will work closely with pupils who have moderate learning difficulties, helping them build confidence and achieve their learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with moderate learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
- Collaborate with class teachers to differentiate learning and adapt activities.
- Provide engaging, tailored support and activities for the class and individual pupils.
Required profile
- Experience supporting phonics within the National Curriculum.
- Knowledge of phonics programmes.
- A caring and supportive nature.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional training or qualifications are a plus.
