About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs in a well‑established school covering KS1 to KS5. The role involves working closely with teachers and therapists to create an inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs throughout the school day.
- Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities.
- Collaborate with therapists to reinforce therapeutic goals.
- Promote independence, confidence and engagement among students.
- Help maintain a safe and positive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS check for children and adults (or willingness to obtain one).
- Positive, patient and proactive attitude.
- Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people.
