About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support young people with special educational needs in a secondary SEN school in Maidenhead. The role offers a rewarding environment where you can make a real difference to pupils' learning and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support for children with special educational needs.
- Supporting small groups with activities in and out of the classroom.
- Assisting with the implementation of Education, Health and Care plans.
- Monitoring pupil progress.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Patience and empathy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children.
- Knowledge of SEN needs and inclusive practices.

What we offer
- Daily rate of £90‑£110, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Full‑time position (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑3:30 pm).
- Start date in September.
