About the role
We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, inclusive primary school in Bow, Tower Hamlets. Starting in September, you will work alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning, helping pupils engage, progress and reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils who need additional help.
- Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to the teacher.
- Prepare and organise learning resources as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
