SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, Monday to Friday during term time, offering a daily rate of £95‑£105.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, enabling access to learning inside and outside the classroom.
• Deliver targeted small‑group interventions focusing on literacy, numeracy, communication and social development.
• Support children with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH and moderate learning difficulties.
• Foster positive relationships to aid pupils’ social, emotional and academic growth.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school, specialist provision, nursery or similar setting.
• Knowledge of supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs or other additional learning needs.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, resilience and excellent communication skills.
