SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Warrington)

About the role
We are looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Warrington. You will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, providing one‑to‑one support and targeted interventions throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEND on an individual basis and in small groups.
- Adapt learning activities to meet each child’s specific requirements.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage active engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to monitor and record progress.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with SEND in an educational or care setting.
- Strong communication and behaviour‑management abilities.
- A patient, nurturing approach to supporting children.
