SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools in East Lancashire

About the role
We are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils from EYFS to Year 6 across a range of inclusive primary schools in East Lancashire. The role can be full‑time or part‑time, offering flexibility to match your lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to children with Special Educational Needs.
- Collaborate with class teachers to deliver inclusive, engaging lessons.
- Promote academic, social and emotional development of pupils.
- Help maintain a positive, nurturing learning environment.
Required profile
- Relevant experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
- Comfortable working with pupils across EYFS to Year 6.
- Patient, caring and committed to each child’s progress.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
