SEN Teaching Assistant – Resource Base (Primary School)

About the role

We are partnering with a large, inclusive primary school in Lambeth to recruit a friendly and energetic SEN Teaching Assistant for its Resource Base. The role starts at the beginning of the next academic year (September 2026) and supports pupils with SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour in small groups or one‑to‑one settings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs.
• Support pupils with SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour to access the curriculum.
• Promote confidence and self‑esteem by encouraging full participation in school life.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom management in a structured environment.

Required profile

• Teaching Assistant experience or strong academic background in Special Educational Needs.
• Enthusiastic, upbeat and able to work collaboratively with staff and students.
• Commitment to a full‑time, term‑time schedule.
