About the role
We are seeking a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary school in Lambeth, starting in September. You will work directly with pupils who have special educational needs and complex requirements, helping them re‑engage with their learning.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to SEN pupils.
- Manage and de‑escalate challenging behaviour.
- Collaborate closely with teaching and pastoral teams.
- Assist students in re‑engaging with education and achieving their targets.
Required profile
- Experience working with SEN, complex needs or youth work.
- Strong behaviour management abilities.
- Calm, resilient and proactive attitude.
- Availability to start in September.
