SEN Teaching Assistant – Small Group Support (Primary School)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work with a small group of three pupils in a West London primary school. The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and provides dedicated learning support for children with varied SEN needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver targeted small‑group instruction and support for three pupils.
• Adapt and differentiate learning activities to meet individual SEN requirements.
• Monitor progress, record observations and share feedback with classroom teachers.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and follow all safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and teaching staff to support overall pupil development.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) with online update service.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
