SEN Teaching Assistant – Supply Cover

About the role
Join Newstaff Employment’s supply cover team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. You will work across a range of schools in South East England, providing vital support to children with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, complex needs, and other additional needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEN to overcome daily challenges and achieve their potential.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students, teachers and support staff.
- Assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates each child’s achievements.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain accurate records.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Patient, calm and resilient attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff.
- Genuine desire to make a difference each day.
