SEN Teaching Assistant – Support Children with Autism

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Camden. The role focuses on supporting children with autism, speech and language needs, and communication difficulties, helping them access the curriculum through structured interventions and sensory activities.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils from Reception to Year 3, delivering 1:1 and small‑group sessions.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists and the SENCO to plan and implement personalised interventions.
- Create a positive, nurturing learning environment that encourages independence and confidence.
- Use sensory activities and structured teaching strategies to facilitate learning.
Required profile
- Experience working with SEND pupils (preferred but not essential).
- Psychology graduates are welcomed.
- Patient, resilient and proactive attitude.
- Availability for full‑time work.
