SEN Teaching Assistant – Support Children with Special Needs

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across Ealing and surrounding areas. You will work directly with pupils who have a range of additional needs, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence and thrive socially and academically.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils with Autism, SLCN, ADHD, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
- Assist teachers and SENCOs in adapting lessons, resources and classroom environments.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to senior staff.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
Required profile
- Passionate about supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Patient, caring and resilient attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
Required skills
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).
What we offer
- Daily rate of £95‑£120, dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible full‑time and part‑time placements.
- Weekly pay and ongoing support from an education consultant.
