SEN Teaching Assistant – Support Children with Special Needs

About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community in Swindon. In this full‑time position you will work alongside teachers, therapists and support staff to provide personalised assistance to pupils with special educational needs, helping them achieve academic and personal milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with pupils and adapt learning activities to individual needs.
• Provide one‑to‑one, small‑group or classroom support, encouraging confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement personalised learning plans.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and report observations to senior staff.
