About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Warrington. You will support pupils with autism and additional learning needs, helping them build confidence both academically and socially.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with autism and other additional needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions to promote independence and positive behaviour.
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO and class teachers to plan and implement support strategies.
- Encourage pupils to engage confidently in classroom activities and social interactions.
Required profile
- Experience in education, care, youth work or related support services.
- Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
