About the role
Join a supportive school environment in Salisbury as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to help pupils with additional needs achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
- Assist students with academic tasks, social interaction and emotional regulation.
- Implement engagement and positive‑behaviour strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to deliver inclusive learning experiences.
- Help maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
- Genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
