SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 2 Support (Full‑Time)

About the role
TLTP Education is partnering with a primary school in Kent to provide a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a Year 2 pupil. The position runs for the remainder of the academic year with a strong possibility of extension into the next year.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Year 2 pupil with daily classroom activities and individualized learning plans.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet the pupil’s special educational needs.
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment and encourage peer interaction.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate updates to the teaching team.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children who have special educational needs.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
- Flexibility, positivity and a proactive attitude towards supporting learning.
Required skills
- Experience implementing SEN strategies in a primary‑school setting.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with pupils, teachers and parents.
