About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a Year 3 pupil with additional needs in a primary school in Havering, London. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time, long‑term placement within a warm and inclusive school community.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalised support to the assigned Year 3 child, fostering independence and confidence.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
- Create an encouraging, inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and record the pupil’s progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to wider school activities and initiatives.
Required profile
- Passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
- Open to graduates or candidates with prior SEN experience.

- Daily rate of £92‑£120 depending on experience.
