About the role
We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join Westbridge Academy in Battersea, London, supporting Year 3 pupils with additional needs. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, working closely with teachers to help non‑verbal and other SEN pupils achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a UK school setting (essential).
- Experience with a range of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language difficulties.
- Strong communication skills with a patient, proactive, and caring approach.
