SEN Tutor – Flexible Part‑time Role in Warrington

About the role
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking enthusiastic SEN Tutors to provide one‑to‑one tuition for children with additional needs across Warrington. This flexible, part‑time position involves delivering tailored sessions in homes, libraries or other community settings, supporting pupils outside mainstream education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition that meets each learner’s SEN requirements.
- Adapt teaching strategies for autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs.
- Support pupils to build confidence and improve academic progress.
- Maintain positive relationships with pupils, families and schools.
- Provide clear feedback after each tutoring session.
Required profile
- Experience working with SEN or SEND learners.
- Familiarity with autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and EHCP‑funded provision.
- Ability to teach functional skills such as GCSE Maths and/or English.
- Experience in behaviour support and learner engagement.
