SEND Class Teacher – Primary (Full‑Time, Sep 2026)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Class Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term placement starting September 2026. The role is based in schools across South East England and East London, supporting primary‑age pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external agencies.
- Monitor, assess, and celebrate pupil progress and achievements.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, communication, and independence skills.
- Foster a culture of high expectations, respect, and inclusion.
Required profile
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with SEND, preferably in a specialist setting.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour support approaches.
- Patient, resilient and committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs.
