SEND Key Worker – Post 16 (Remote)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced SEND Key Worker to manage a caseload of children and young people with Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs). This fully remote position works on a local authority contract, delivering person‑centred, outcomes‑focused support.
Key responsibilities
- Manage SEND assessments and EHCPs, ensuring statutory timescales are met.
- Coordinate multi‑agency assessments and annual reviews.
- Serve as the main point of contact for families, schools and education providers.
- Chair meetings and collaborate with professionals to secure the best outcomes.
- Support placement planning and provide advice on SEND processes and legislation.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing EHCPs within a local authority.
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes.
- Post‑16 experience within a local authority contract.
Required skills
What we offer
- Fully remote working.
- Daily rate of £300‑£320.
- Immediate start and ongoing contract.
- Referral scheme with up to £250 reward.
