SEND Outreach Worker – Support Children with Additional Needs

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEND Outreach Worker to join a dedicated provision in Bournemouth. You will support children and young people with additional needs, helping them achieve their educational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outreach support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
• Work closely with the local provision to deliver tailored interventions.
• Collaborate with schools, families and other professionals to ensure coordinated support.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of interventions and progress.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS, NVQ or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a UK school or with SEND students.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) and registration on the online update service.
• Two professional, child‑related references.
