SEND Teacher – Flexible Part‑Time Cover

About the role
We are seeking flexible SEND teachers to provide daily cover for a vibrant SEND school in Bellingham, Lewisham. The role offers the freedom to work when you choose, within set school hours.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver classroom teaching for pupils aged 4‑12 with mild to severe SEND needs.
- Cover daily teaching assignments, typically from 08:30 to 15:30.
- Arrive on site by 07:00 for early bookings or pre‑scheduled work.
- Collaborate with 2‑3 SEND Teaching Assistants per class, maintaining a maximum of 8 pupils per class.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Willingness to hold a DBS check on the update service.
- Flexible availability – any day or time you prefer.
- Previous SEND experience is not essential.
