SEND Teacher – Further Education (16‑25)

About the role
Reed FE is seeking passionate SEND specialists to teach learners aged 16‑25 in further education settings across London. You will deliver inclusive, engaging lessons that support young adults with a range of special educational needs to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students with SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with support staff, parents/carers and external agencies as required.
Required profile
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, QTS or equivalent).
- Experience working with SEND learners aged 16‑25.
- Enhanced DBS covering adult and children’s workforce (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare.
