SEND Teacher – Key Stage 2 (Lewisham)

About the role

We are partnering with a Lewisham primary school to recruit a qualified SEND Teacher for Key Stage 2, starting September 2026. This full‑time, on‑site position runs from 08:30 to 15:30 and offers the chance to work with small, supportive classes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a visual and sensory curriculum tailored to pupils with ASD, complex needs and specific learning difficulties.
• Teach classes of 6‑8 students, supported by 2‑3 SEND teaching assistants.
• Collaborate with the school’s multidisciplinary team to implement each pupil’s EHC plan.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Demonstrated experience working with SEND pupils.
• Willingness to work full‑time on site.
• No specific SEND qualifications required.
