SEND Teacher – Northwich

About the role

We are seeking a SEND Teacher to join specialist schools and alternative provisions in Northwich from September 2026. The role involves supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Support pupils with diverse additional needs, including ASC, SEMH, ADHD, learning difficulties and communication needs.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants, SENDCOs and other professionals.
• Promote positive academic and personal outcomes for pupils.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children or young people.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Genuine passion for SEND education.
