SEND Teacher – Part-Time (3 days/week)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Wirral on a part‑time basis (three days per week) starting in September. The role blends PPA cover with dedicated teaching within a specialist Resource Provision, helping pupils with a range of additional needs to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver PPA cover across Resource Provision and Nurture classes.
• Undertake a 0.2 teaching commitment in Resource Provision 2 (Years 4–6).
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate closely with support staff, families, and external professionals.
• Support pupils in achieving their full potential within an inclusive setting.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN.
• Background in a Resource Provision, specialist, or SEN setting.
• Skilled in differentiation and inclusive teaching.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Committed, patient, and passionate about SEND education.
