About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in East London. You will work within a well‑established Inclusion Team, delivering high‑quality interventions and supporting students with EHCPs. The role involves teaching individuals and small groups across KS3‑KS5, helping learners overcome barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality SEND interventions for students with EHCPs.
- Teach individual pupils and small groups across KS3‑KS5, supporting learners with ASD, SEMH and other additional needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents and external agencies to plan and monitor progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience as a SEND teacher.
- Experience supporting students with SEND, particularly ASD and/or SEMH.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and interventions.
- Collaborative approach with staff, parents and agencies and a genuine passion for inclusion.
