About the role
TeacherActive is partnering with a specialist SEND school in Chatham that provides a supportive learning environment for children with Autism/ASD. The role focuses on helping pupils engage with their education and achieve individual learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each pupil.
- Adapt learning materials and approaches to meet individual needs.
- Support children’s academic progress and personal development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with SEND pupils, specifically those with Autism/ASD.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Strong classroom management and a patient, adaptable approach.
