About the role
Join a forward‑thinking primary school in Tower Hamlets as a SEND Teacher, leading a specialist inclusion class for pupils with complex learning needs. This full‑time position runs from September 2026 to July 2027 and offers the chance to shape an outstanding inclusive provision within a mainstream environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEND needs.
- Lead a small class of up to 10 pupils, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt provision to meet changing requirements.
- Promote communication, independence, emotional wellbeing, and social skills.
- Collaborate with families, external professionals, and the parallel SEND teacher to ensure best outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.
- Passion for inclusive education and personalised learning.
