SEND Teaching Assistant (Full‑time, Term‑time)

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a specialist SEN school in Meldreth to recruit a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week), term‑time only, and involves supporting children and young people aged 6‑19 with a wide range of learning and medical needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to students with PMLD, autism, ADHD, sensory, physical and complex medical needs.
• Assist teachers in delivering an individualised curriculum and promote independence.
• Support emotional resilience, communication and transitions throughout the school day.
• Participate in therapeutic, multi‑disciplinary approaches and physical intervention when required.
• Deliver consistent high‑quality assistance across classroom, community and extracurricular activities.

• Passionate about supporting children with additional needs and willing to pursue fully funded qualifications.
