SEND Teaching Assistant – Support Children with Additional Needs

About the role
We are looking for caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across specialist and mainstream schools in Manchester. You will work closely with teachers and SEND professionals to help children access learning and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
- Assist children in accessing the curriculum and building confidence.
- Encourage independence and promote a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and SEND specialists.
Required profile
- Passion for supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, SEMH, complex learning needs, physical disabilities or PMLD.
- Experience in school settings, care, residential or youth services is valued.
- Compassionate, resilient and dedicated to making a lasting impact.
