SEND Tutor – Flexible 1:1 Tuition in Liverpool

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEND Tutor to deliver high‑quality one‑to‑one tuition for students across Liverpool. You will work flexibly, helping learners overcome barriers such as missed education, anxiety, or other challenges, and supporting them to achieve their academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons for individual students.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the specific needs of pupils with SEND or disengagement issues.
• Monitor progress, identify learning gaps, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a supportive and patient learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience working with students requiring additional support, particularly SEND.
• UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Creative, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references related to work with children or young people.
