SEND Tutor & Mentor – Flexible Support for Young Learners

About the role

Quantum Scholars is expanding its SEND, EOTAS and Alternative Provision services in Wokingham from September 2026. We are seeking dedicated tutors, mentors and support workers to provide one‑to‑one academic and emotional assistance to vulnerable young people.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tuition and mentoring tailored to each learner’s needs.
• Provide SEND intervention and engagement activities.
• Offer academic, emotional and behavioural support.
• Support EOTAS and Alternative Provision pathways.
• Conduct sessions in homes, schools, community settings or online, based on learner preference.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to travel within Wokingham and surrounding areas.
• Legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
