SEND Tutor (with QTS) – Part‑time, West London

About the role
We are looking for an experienced SEND Tutor (with QTS) to provide 25 hours per week of tailored support for a 12‑year‑old autistic child with ASD and SEMH needs. The role is based in West London and will be delivered flexibly, primarily in the child's home.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a differentiated curriculum across core subjects, working alongside a support worker/LSA.
- Build trust and emotional safety, using non‑directive methods to support learning.
- Focus on independent living skills, literacy and emotional regulation.
- Identify and anticipate sensory and emotional triggers, offering flexible choices.
- Provide regular feedback to parents and multidisciplinary teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience working with autistic children or complex SEN learners.
- Ability to adapt lessons on the day to meet the student's needs.
- Willingness to travel to a home setting in West London.
