Senior ABAP Developer

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Senior ABAP Developer to design, develop and support SAP solutions within a hybrid working environment. You will work on an ECC6.0 PSCD system focused on Tax & Revenue Management and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver all WRICEF components (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) in the ECC6.0 landscape.
• Design, develop and optimise ABAP code for S/4HANA, leveraging CDS Views, AMDP and push‑down techniques.
• Implement and maintain SAP Tax & Revenue Management, HR, FI and CRM integrations.
• Develop SAP UI5/Fiori applications, OData services and extend Fiori apps.
• Support cloud integrations using SAP Business Technology Platform and Integration Suite.
• Perform code remediation, performance tuning and HANA‑native optimisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with ABAP, ABAP Objects and S/4HANA development.
• In‑depth knowledge of BRF+, WebDynpro, Workflow and NetWeaver Gateway Services.
• Techno‑functional expertise in SAP Tax & Revenue Management, HR, FI and CRM.
• Proven ability to work on large‑scale S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance and residence in the UK for the past 5 years.
