Senior Academic Lead – Subject Division Leadership

About the role

Blue Education is seeking a Senior Academic Lead to own and grow a subject division across multiple disciplines. You will combine high‑level teaching expertise with strategic leadership to deliver outstanding student outcomes and drive commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the academic strategy, curriculum design and programme development for the assigned subject area.
• Teach, mentor students and provide admissions consulting during peak cycles.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage a high‑performing team of tutors.
• Ensure teaching standards, quality assurance and continuous improvement of student outcomes.
• Communicate with families, delivering premium educational consulting.
• Contribute to business growth through new programme creation and strategic initiatives.
• Represent Blue Education externally and help build the brand.

Required profile

• Proven senior academic leadership experience in higher‑education or elite tutoring environments.
• Demonstrated success in curriculum development and scaling academic programmes.
• Strong track record of student progression, university admissions and parent satisfaction.
• Excellent people‑management and performance‑coaching abilities.
• Willingness to teach evenings/weekends during peak admission cycles.

Required skills

• Deep subject‑area expertise in one of the listed disciplines (e.g., Maths, Physics/Engineering, Economics, Humanities, Biochemistry).
