Senior Account Director – Marketing Agency

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account Director to lead strategic client relationships for a leading marketing agency that works with top‑100 brands. Based in London, you will act as the primary point of contact, driving the development and delivery of high‑impact campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategic direction and day‑to‑day management of assigned client accounts.
• Understand client business objectives, market challenges and positioning to shape effective marketing solutions.
• Lead account planning, campaign development and oversee execution to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and revenue growth for each account.
• Mentor and develop junior account managers and cross‑functional team members.
• Collaborate with creative, digital and media teams to align on scope and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in account management, client services or marketing strategy within an agency environment.
• Proven track record handling large or high‑value client portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior‑level client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and profit optimisation.
• Experience leading and coaching account teams.
