Senior Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to own full‑cycle new‑logo revenue for Cytix’s most complex deals. You will sell a security‑focused product to CISOs, security engineers and AppSec leads, often in markets where our brand is unknown, requiring a consultative approach that uncovers true business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end new‑logo opportunities from qualification through discovery, technical evaluation and contract signature, sourced by SDR, marketing, partners and self‑prospecting.
• Self‑source a significant portion of your pipeline and build account plans from cold lists.
• Run multi‑threaded discovery across security, engineering and economic buyers, uncovering hidden pain points.
• Lead commercial negotiations, procurement and security reviews, including competitive processes, without CRO support.
• Maintain accurate weekly forecasts with commit‑to‑close accuracy within 10% over multiple quarters.
• Shape SDR intake criteria and Customer Success handoff standards, mentoring newer Account Executives on deal strategy.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of full‑cycle closing experience in B2B SaaS, preferably selling technical products to security or engineering buyers.
• Proven quota attainment of £750k–£1m+ at or above 100% in at least two of the last three years.
• Strong consultative selling skills, comfortable asking “why” before “how” and building business cases from first principles.
• Demonstrated ability to win deals with little brand recognition and to persist through setbacks.
• Curious, quick‑learning and eager to tackle new buyer personas and deal types.
