Senior Account Manager / Estimator (Signage)

About the role

The Sign Group is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager / Estimator to join its Leeds team. You will act as the primary contact for trade clients, turning design briefs into accurate quotations and guiding projects from concept to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a live portfolio of trade clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to produce clear, cost‑effective quotations.
• Liaise daily with design, production and logistics teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct calls or video meetings to scope work and gather project details.
• Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to overall sales targets.
• Maintain CRM, job tracker and paperwork so finance has up‑to‑date information.
• Mentor junior colleagues and share best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in signage sales, estimating or project management.
• Strong knowledge of sign materials, illumination methods and fabrication techniques.
• Excellent Excel and Outlook abilities with a logical, numbers‑focused approach.
• Clear, friendly communication skills across phone, email and face‑to‑face.
• Calm under tight deadlines and able to juggle multiple projects.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to coach others.
• Full UK driving licence useful for occasional travel.

What we offer

• Salary between £32,000 and £35,000 per year, dependent on experience.
