Senior Account Manager

About the role

Based at our Dalston Roastery, you will nurture relationships with our growing customer base, ensuring they are set up for success. As a senior member of the Account Management team you will act as a brand ambassador, driving growth and retention while coaching junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Out on the road connecting with café customers across the South of the UK.
• Managing and growing relationships with key wholesale customers, taking a proactive and long‑term approach to retention and commercial success.
• Preparing and monitoring sales analysis of customer performance and offering insight and proactive solutions.
• Responsible for onboarding new customers.
• Supporting launch of new products and campaigns, identifying growth opportunities and reporting on success.
• Coaching and supporting the Account Management team by sharing insights, tools and best practice.
• Working closely with Business Development, Customer Experience, Training and Technical teams to deliver best service.
• Collaborating with Customer Experience and Finance teams to review aged debt and implement credit control actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or account management.
• Strong relationship‑building and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Comfortable with regional travel and a valid driver’s licence (beneficial).
• Passion for hospitality, community and helping businesses succeed.
• Experience or knowledge of the coffee industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM system and keeping data accurate.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel).
