Senior Accountant – Accounting Practice in Farnham

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well‑established accountancy practice in Farnham. You will act as a key point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality accounting and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Complete corporation tax returns and personal tax computations.
• Manage a client portfolio, providing proactive support and advice.
• Review and support junior staff with bookkeeping and accounts work.
• Assist with VAT returns, management accounts and compliance tasks.
• Liaise with clients to ensure work complies with UK GAAP and relevant tax regulations.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA) or equivalent academic background.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confidence in communicating financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
