Senior Accountant – Chartered Practice

About the role

This is a senior accounting position within a well‑established chartered practice in Dalston. You will manage a varied portfolio of clients, preparing statutory and management accounts while working closely with partners and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
• Liaise directly with clients to manage queries and build strong relationships.
• Support and mentor junior members of the accounts team.
• Assist with tax computations and other ad‑hoc accounting tasks.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist, or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience working within a UK practice environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and work well under pressure.
