Senior Accountant – Full‑time, Slough

About the role

We are partnering with an established Chartered Accountancy firm in Slough to find an experienced Senior Accountant. You will work closely with managers and partners, delivering high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services while building strong client relationships across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Produce management accounts and detailed financial reports.
• Prepare and review VAT returns.
• Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients as their trusted point of contact.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Liaise with HMRC and respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and add value to client businesses.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience considered).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK full‑time without restriction.
