About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a growing and highly regarded accountancy practice in Lydney. The role goes beyond routine accounts production, offering ownership of work, long‑term career progression and the chance to become a trusted advisor to a varied portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of clients.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts.
- Carry out corporate and personal tax work.
- Support and mentor junior staff.
- Work closely with business owners across a range of sectors.
- Provide general business and financial advice.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Experience within an accountancy practice.
- Confidence in managing client relationships.
- Organised, proactive and commercially minded.
- Keen to progress within a growing firm.
