About the role

Polaris is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in London. The role supports monthly and year‑end reporting, prepares key internal and external financial deliverables, and ensures statutory filing compliance. You will work three days a week on‑site in London with occasional visits to other offices.

Key responsibilities

Manage the annual statutory audit and tax compliance process, including CT returns and computations.
Lead the preparation of the Group’s full‑year financial statements.
Review balance‑sheet reconciliations for all group companies.
Oversee client‑account bank reconciliations and cash payment preparation.
Process monthly Group recharges and maintain debt and equity schedules.
Provide support to the Group Financial Controller and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confidence in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently, own deliverables and maintain high standards.
Willingness to coach, mentor and train colleagues.
