About the role
We are looking for a Senior Accounting Technician to support the accountant in delivering high‑quality financial management and reporting for client departments. This 6‑month, full‑time position is based in Truro and offers the chance to work on budgeting, forecasting and grant claim processes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide financial information and advice to departmental staff.
- Ensure client department activities are properly budgeted and controlled.
- Prepare monthly budget monitoring reports and forecast outturns.
- Complete all relevant financial returns and grant claims.
Required profile
- Previous relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Ability to maintain, report and present financial information accurately.
- AAT qualification desirable.
- Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with the SUN system is a plus.
