Senior Accounts Assistant – Sales Ledger

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to manage our Sales Ledger. You will play a pivotal part in processing cash receipts, reconciling accounts and providing a high‑quality, customer‑focused service within a fast‑moving finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Post and allocate cash receipts accurately to customer accounts.
• Reconcile transactions and investigate any discrepancies.
• Manage the Sales Ledger inbox, responding promptly to internal and external queries.
• Collaborate with Management Accountants and operational teams to resolve account issues.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement opportunities within the Sales Ledger function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales ledger or accounts receivable.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
