Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a leading media planning and buying agency in Central London. Working within a collaborative finance team, you will own a supplier portfolio and ensure the smooth operation of the accounts payable function.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately using the MediaOcean accounting system
• Reconcile supplier accounts against monthly statements and resolve queries
• Prepare and execute regular BACS payment runs
• Maintain and post bank transactions, including weekly multi‑currency reconciliations
• Update the nominal ledger and manage supplier records
• Oversee the shared Accounts Payable inbox and build strong relationships with client and finance teams
• Process employee expenses and overhead payments
• Assist in training new and existing team members and support ad‑hoc finance administration

Required profile

• Previous accounts payable experience, preferably within a media planning and buying agency
• Hands‑on experience with the MediaOcean suite (DDS, MX, DS Media, DS Accounting)
• Strong numerical, reconciliation and organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Proactive, independent working style and strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
